How the fuck do I get rid of the search history in things like Google and the like.
For instance, I'm at work, the boss uses my computer to search a word with the letter m in it on Google, and a list pops up below with 'midget porn' etc. etc.
How do erase the memory from it? Before the boss searches 'anal fisting' unawares.
I can get rid of history, cookies, temp files and all that shit, but I'm confuckled on this one.

Click the settings button. Go to options, click search box settings, then uncheck "suggest searches from my search history"

Is it on the homepage or in a toolbar?

Sorry, I was stupid, been sick past few days so when ya said google, thought you were referring to that stupid google tool bar.
Go to advanced tab in the internet options, scroll down under browsing, and uncheck "use inline autocomplete". That should do it.

'use inline autocheck' was alraedy unchecked.
The history of previous searched words is still there.
Cheers though.
